A quick video talking through some of the questions we have been asked over an over by new users of Native Instruments' Traktor DJ app for iPhone/iPad. If you have no tracks on your iPad, you have no tracks in your Traktor DJ – Aside from this, with the newest release of Traktor 2.6.1 on February 20th, we now see that in order for Traktor Pro 2 to Sync with Traktor DJ on the iPad, you MUST use iTunes. It is through iTunes and Drop Box, that all the syncing happens! Hi Julian, Thus far, the S4 MK3 cannot be used with Traktor DJ 2, but this may change in the future. I know the Traktor DJ 2 and hardware team are investigating this, but so far, the S4 MK3 is lacking the MFi certification required to work on iOS devices.

HI, i own a s4 mk1 and f1 kontrol, with tractor pro, can i implement my ipad into this set up by getting traktor dj and 3rd party midi controllers to control some feature of traktor dj on the ipad? Or is the only controller i can use for traktor dj a mk2 s4 or s2? Just like we cant control the remix decks with 3rd party controllers only the f1? Can i use the ipad to control some feature my s4.
